Nicola Hill has published three books, A Very Pink Wedding, The Pink Guide to Adoption, Proud Parents and contributed a chapter to The Foster Carer’s Handbook on Education. She has a Masters in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths College where she attended numerous workshops, tutorials and lectures run by Francis Spufford, Blake Morrison and Maura Dooley. Longlisted for the 2019 Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize: www.wasafiri.org During her time at Goldsmiths, she drafted two novels and gave other students feedback on their work. She belongs to a creative writing group of published writers, who meet every other week to critique each other's work. Nicola has published numerous articles in The Guardian and the charity press. She has been a freelance writer and editor for over 20 years. |
